The Flames welcomed the Nashville Predators into the Scotiabank Saddledome back on November 3rd for their first of three meetings this season. Nashville opened the scoring in the first with a goal from Mark Jankowski and would add two goals in the second frame off the sticks of Filip Forsberg and Roamn Josi and led 3-0 through 40. Calgary would try to claw back into the contest after Blake Coleman hammered home his first of the season off a slick feed from Mikael Backlund to cut the deficit to two. But that is as close as Calgary would come, and Matt Duchene would add an empty netter in the late stages of the game and Nashville prevailed 4-1.
