OCTOBER 20, 2023 – CALGARY FLAMES [1] at COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS [3]
The Calgary Flames continued a five-game road trip on Friday night with their second-last stop at Nationwide Arena to take on the Blue Jackets. In the second, Sean Kuraly would score the icebreaker to give the Jackets the lead, and that’s all the scoring the middle frame would see. The Jackets would extend their lead after Justin Danforth slid home his second of the season. The Flames would draw within one off a shorthanded marker from Elias Lindholm, however, Columbus added an empty netter and won 3-1.
