The Ducks dropped a 2-1 matinee contest to the Arizona Coyotes at Mullett Arena Saturday afternoon. Frank Vatrano scored his team-leading fourth goal and Anaheim’s first PPG of the campaign. Vatrano is the first Ducks player with four goals through four games to begin a season since Corey Perry in 2014-15 (4-2=6). Jakob Silfverberg recorded his first assist of the season, tying Rickard Rakell (185) for the eighth most assists in franchise history. Adam Henrique tallied his second assist of the season. Lukas Dostal stopped 26-of-28 shots in his second start. Anaheim had eight players 23-and-under play in the contest, tied with Buffalo for the most this season.

Anaheim will face an Eastern Conference opponent. The Ducks continue their nine-game October schedule, and conclude their second of 12 back-to-back matchups this season, the second straight with a road contest followed by a home matchup. Following tonight’s game,

In the 2022-23 campaign, the Ducks earned a point in a 2-1 shootout loss at TD Garden (Oct. 20) and the Bruins earned a 7-1 win in Orange County (Jan. 8).
