The Ducks opened their February schedule and their post-All-Star break slate earning a point for the fourth straight game in a 3-2 shootout loss. Anaheim scored two third period goals 86 seconds apart to tie the game and force overtime, while also killing all five Dallas power plays (nine straight overall), including a full two minute 5-on-3. Jakob Silfverberg scored his 147th goal as a Duck at 11:04 of the third period, tying Bobby Ryan for seventh on the club’s all-time goals list. Adam Henrique netted his team-leading 19th goal at 12:30 of the third, his seventh goal the last nine games (7-3=10). Trevor Zegras earned his 25th assist, marking a point in eight of his last nine games (6-6=12). Kevin Shattenkirk and Frank Vatrano also earned assists, with Vatrano marking his sixth point in four games (4-2=6). John Gibson made 39 saves in regulation and overtime, helping the Ducks to points in five of his last six starts (3-1-2) while marking his league-leading 15th game of 35-plus saves this season.

TONIGHT’S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks conclude the second half of a back-to-back matchup tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks at Untied Center (5:30 p.m. PT, TV: Bally Sports SoCal AUDIO: Ducks Stream). Anaheim enters tonight’s game with points in four straight contests (3-0-1) in addition to a 4-1-1 record the last six games (22 goals for) and points in six of the last eight overall (4-2-2). Anaheim continues its 11-game February schedule tonight (0-0-1 to date), consisting of four home and seven road contests. All-time, Anaheim is 153-124-35 in the month of February.
