ANAHEIM DUCKS NOTES:

LAST ANAHEIM DUCKS GAME
JAN. 19, 2023 – ANAHEIM 5 @ COLUMBUS 3
The Ducks overcame a 3-0 deficit in the first period to earn a 5-3 comeback win Thursday night over the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena. The win marked Anaheim’s fifth multi-goal comeback victory of the season, now tied for the league lead (also CHI, NJD and VAN). It marks the fourth time in club history the Ducks have rallied from down three goals (or more) to win on the road (second regulation). The only other such road win in regulation came Dec. 2, 2018 @ Washington (trailed 5-1, won 6-5). John Gibson recorded the win in relief, making all 18 saves in 40:00 to earn his 174th career victory, passing Guy Hebert (173) for second on the Ducks all-time list. Cam Fowler (1-1=2), Adam Henrique (1-1=2, +2), Trevor Zegras (1-1=2, +2), Troy Terry (0-2=2) and Isac Lundestrom (0-2=2) each tallied multi-point efforts. Henrique scored for the fourth straight game (4-2=6), his first four-game goal streak since a career best of six games with New Jersey Feb. 27-Mar. 8, 2014 (9-2=11). His assist also marked the 100th of his Ducks career, the 21st player to reach the milestone. Zegras scored the GWG at 5:07 of the third period to cap off the comeback, extending his point streak to a career-tying four games (3-3=6). Fowler netted his fifth goal and 16th assist, his fifth multi-point effort and first since November. Terry matched Zegras with his 11th multi-point effort, sixth multi-assist, extending his assist total to five the last four games (0-5=5) and his team lead in scoring (12-26=38) and assists. Lundestrom recorded his first multi-point outing of the season (0-2=2) in his return to the lineup after missing 21 games due to a broken finger. Simon Benoit scored his second goal of the season and second the last five games, and Max Jones netted his third goal to round out the scoring. Max Comtois, Jaycob Megna and Ryan Strome also earned assists, with Strome pushing his point/assist streak to three games (0-3=3, +2). Anthony Stolarz made 12 saves in the first period.
