The Ducks earned a point as they began a season-long six-game road trip with a 4-3 OT loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins Monday night at PPG Paints Arena. Trevor Zegras scored his 14th goal of the season and recorded his 20th assist, his 10th multi-point game (1-1=2). Troy Terry earned two assists, tying Zegras with his 10th multi-point effort to extend his team-lead in points (12-24=36) and assists. John Klingberg scored his sixth goal of the season (PPG) as he continues to pace Anaheim blueliners in goals. ANAHEIM DUCKS NOTES
TONIGHT’S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks continue a season-long six game road trip tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center (4 p.m. PT, TV: Bally Sports SoCal AUDIO: Ducks Stream). Tonight concludes the Ducks’ sixth set of back-to-back matchups, posting a 1-8-2 record overall (0-5-0 in the second contest). The Ducks enter tonight’s contest having killed 30 of the last 35 penalties (85.7%) dating to Dec. 21 (spanning 11 games). Anaheim is in the midst of a 13-game January schedule (2-4-1), consisting of seven home and six road contests. All-time, Anaheim is 164-144-38 in the month of January.
