The Ducks concluded a franchise-record 10-game homestand with a 6-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils Friday night at Honda Center. Cam Fowler earned his 300th career assist on Trevor Zegras’ third period goal, becoming the fifth player in Ducks history to record 300 assists, joining Ryan Getzlaf (737), Teemu Selanne (531), Corey Perry (404) and Paul Kariya (369). He continues to lead Anaheim defensemen in career points (85-300=385), goals, assists and games played (854). Adam Henrique netted his 13th goal of the season and earned an assist, his fifth multi-point effort in 2022-23 (1-1=2). Trevor Zegras scored his 13th on the season (PPG), matching Henrique for the team lead in goals. Troy Terry earned the lone assist on Henrique’s goal, extending his team-lead in points (12-22=34) and assists. John Gibson stopped 33 shots. Jakob Silfverberg appeared in his 700th career NHL contest.

ANAHEIM DUCKS NOTES
TONIGHT’S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks begin a season-long six game road trip tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena (4 p.m. PT, TV: Bally Sports SoCal AUDIO: Ducks Stream). Tonight opens the Ducks sixth set of back-to-back matchups, posting a 1-8-1 record overall (1-3-1 in the first contest) The Ducks enter tonight’s contest having killed 26 of the last 31 penalties (83.9%) dating to Dec. 21 (spanning 10 games). Anaheim is in the midst of a 13-game January schedule (2-4-0), consisting of seven home and six road contests. All-time, Anaheim is 164-144-37 in the month of January. Since the start of 2013-14, Anaheim is 60-43-9 in January, picking up points in 69 of the 111 contests (.622%).
