• A Kraken win would also give the team its fourth sweep of the season, having previously swept the Buffalo Sabres, Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins. It would also make Seattle the first team to sweep Boston in a season series this year.

• The Kraken, who previously defeated the Bruins 3-0 on Jan. 12, remain the only team to shutout Boston in a game this season.

• Jaden Schwartz has 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 13 career games against the Bruins.

• Jordan Eberle has seven points (three goals, four assists) in his last five games played.

• Matty Beniers has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last three games played.

• Entering play Wednesday, the Kraken were leading the league in both five-on-five goals (144) and five-on-five goals per game (2.53) this season. Seattle has scored 73.1 percent of its goals this year at five-on-five, the highest mark of any team.

• Jared McCann (1.85) was leading the NHL in goals-per-60 at five-on-five this season among players that have played in at least seven games this year entering play Wednesday.

• Entering play Wednesday, Adam Larsson, the Islanders’ Alexander Romanov and the Rangers’ Jacob Trouba were the only three players to have at least 150 hits and 100 blocks this season.

• The Kraken have played 13 games this season in which they have had at least five different goal scores.

• Since the start of the New Year, the Kraken are tied for second the league in wins (14) and tied for fourth in points (30). The team’s 80 goals rank third in the league since Jan. 1.

• Despite only playing in 57 games this season, the Kraken are the first team to have scored at least eight goals in a game four different times since the Pittsburgh Penguins also had four eight-goal games in 2011-12.
