The American goalkeeper signed a Homegrown contract last season and has been a consistent presence in goal for New York City FC II, making 50 appearances and earning 13 clean sheets.

Reid recently signed an MLS NEXT Pro contract with New York City FC II and has begun his season in impressive fashion, scoring three goals in two matches for the Pigeons. Molinari, on the other hand, has signed his second Short-Term Agreement of the season, after featuring in New York City FC’s win over Orlando City last weekend at Yankee Stadium.

MLS Rules on Short-Term Agreements
Per league regulations, MLS clubs may sign players aged 25 or younger from their MLS NEXT Pro affiliate to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements each season. Players signed to these agreements may be rostered for up to four MLS league matches per season but are limited to appearing in no more than two league matches. However, players may participate in any number of non-league games during the terms of their agreements.

The three players have traveled with the team and will be available for selection in tonight’s match against the Columbus Crew.
