San Antonio Spurs

Guard De’Aaron Fox is expected to make his San Antonio debut following a three-team trade involving the Sacramento Kings and the Chicago Bulls. The 27-year-old Fox, who is averaging 25.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.1 assists this season, did not play in the Spurs’ 128-109 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday. The Spurs are eager to pair Fox with their second-year phenom, Victor Wembanyama.

In the game against Memphis, Wembanyama led the team with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Stephon Castle added 21 points, while Jeremy Sochan came off the bench to contribute 14 points and eight rebounds.

Atlanta Hawks

With the trade deadline approaching on Thursday at 3 p.m. ET, the Hawks have been linked to Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George, who could help bolster their frontcourt after losing Jalen Johnson to a season-ending shoulder injury.

The Hawks have been receiving a boost from within, particularly from No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher, who has averaged 21.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists over his past three games. Risacher is averaging 11.3 points per game this season.

In their recent game, Trae Young hit a go-ahead jumper with 1.6 seconds remaining, leading Atlanta to a 132-130 victory over the Detroit Pistons. Young finished with 34 points and nine assists, while De’Andre Hunter added 20 points. Dyson Daniels impressed with 19 points, six rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and three blocks, helping the Hawks end an eight-game losing streak. Coach Quin Snyder has been pleased with Daniels’ growth, as he has scored in double figures in 13 of the 16 games since the start of 2025. Daniels is averaging 14.9 points, 5.8 boards, and 4.3 assists during that stretch, leading the league in steals with 137 on the season.
