NBA Preview: Philadelphia Sixers (51-26) at Milwaukee Bucks (55-22)

The Milwaukee Bucks will face the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night, one day after hosting one of the top contenders in the Eastern Conference on Thursday.

Milwaukee (55-22) is falling off its second-most horrendously terrible home misfortune in establishment history, falling 140-99 to the Boston Celtics. The Celtics completely took control after a heated first quarter, when Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown scored 70 points in just three quarters.

Giannis Antetokounmpo drove the Bucks with 24 focuses on 11-for-27 shooting. Prior to Thursday, the Bucks had scored at least 100 points in 33 consecutive games.

In terms of injuries, Meyers Leonard was out of the Bucks’ game against Boston because of a calf injury. Budenholzer stated to reporters that he is “hopeful” that Leonard will participate once more in the regular season. Thanasis Antetokounmpo, who headbutted Celtics forward/center Blake Griffin and was suspended for one game, will also be unavailable for Milwaukee.

Khris Middleton left Thursday’s down against the Celtics subsequent to being elbowed in the face, making him drain on the court. He is expected to play, though, against the 76ers.

Tobias Harris was unable to play for the 76ers on Friday because of illness, but he should be able to play against Milwaukee. This season, he is averaging 15.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.

The Eastern Conference’s top team, Milwaukee, is just one and a half games ahead of Boston, which is two and a half games ahead of third-place Philadelphia. After winning the previous two meetings, the 76ers will attempt to win the season series against Milwaukee. Their most recent victory, a 133-130 victory on March 4, ended Milwaukee’s 16-game winning streak.
