MLS Preview: Vancouver Whitecaps FC (9-8-7) at Chicago Fire (8-9-8)

The Chicago Fire have lost only one of its six home matches against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC (W2 D3), going unbeaten in the last two (W1 D1). The Chicago Fire have conceded only two goals in their six home matches against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

The Chicago Fire are unbeaten in its last 14 regular season home matches against Western Conference opposition (W9 D5) dating back to a March 2019 loss to the Seattle Sounders FC. The Chicago Fire has conceded only one goal in its last five home matches against Western Conference foes.

Brian White has scored in each of his last three regular-season road games, the first Vancouver Whitecaps FC player to do so since Kekuta Manneh in 2016. Only two Vancouver Whitecaps FC players, Pedro Morales in 2016 and Camilo Sanvezzo in 2013, have scored in four straight road appearances in the club’s MLS history.
