Inter Miami kept its first MLS clean sheet against the Red Bulls on May 22, winning, 2-0, at home. The first two meetings at Red Bull Arena have been split, with Miami winning, 2-1, in 2020 and the Red Bulls recording a 1-0 win last October.

Inter Miami is unbeaten five straight matches (W3 D2), the second-longest unbeaten run in the club’s MLS history (6 straight in August-September 2021). Miami has won its last two matches and could win three straight for the third time in club history (also September 2021, April 2022).
The Red Bulls equalizing goal against Cincinnati on Saturday was scored from the penalty spot. Four of New York’s las seven home goals in MLS play have been on penalties, including the last three in a row.
Gonzalo Higuain assisted on Miami’s opening goal on Saturday, his third straight game with a goal contribution (1 goal, 2 assists), while Alejandro Pozuelo assisted the second, also his third straight game with a goal contribution (2 goals, 3 asissts). The only player in Miami’s MLS history to contribute to a goal in four straight games was Lewis Morgan (3 goals, 2 assists) in October 2020.
