Minnesota United has won four straight matches against Houston, including a 2-1 away win on July 23 after winning just two of the first 10 meetings (D4 L4). The four-match winning streak over the Dynamo is the longest for the Loons against a single foe in the club’s MLS history.

Minnesota United’s 2-1 win over Austin FC on Saturday was its seventh victory in its last 10 matches (D2 L1). Only LAFC (24) has more points than Minnesota (23) since this run began for the Loons in late June.

The Dynamo’s 1-1 draw at Colorado on Saturday was their 10th road point of the season (W3 D1 L9). This is the first time Houston has reached 10 road points in a single season since tallying 11 in 2018 (W2 D5 L10).

Emanuel Reynoso scored Minnesota’s first goal on Saturday his 10th of the season. With that goal, Reynoso became the third Minnesota United player to hit double figures in goals in a single regular season, after Darwin Quintero (2018 & 2019)and Christian Ramirez (2017).

Sebastian Ferreira scored in the fifth minute of stoppage time to level for the dynamo against Colorado on Saturday was the 12th result changing goal scored in the 95th minute or later this season and the second for Houston (Teenage Hadebe 90’+11 equalizer vs. Dallas in July)
