LAST START: He lost his second consecutive start in the A’s 6-1 loss at Cleveland last Thursday…retired each of the first 11 batters, giving him a streak of 21 consecutive batters retired dating back to his last start…Ramirez singled with two outs in the fourth for the Guardians first hit but he was caught stealing…the A’s scored once in the fifth but he allowed two runs in the bottom of the fifth on a Bell home run and a Straw RBI triple…then retired six of the final seven batters he faced.
