ABOUT THE A’S: Lost two of three at Toronto to close out the road trip and have now lost 10 of the last 11 games after winning a season-high seven consecutive contests…are 8-14 (.364) in June after winning six games in May and five in April…are a season-high 40 games under .500 at 20-60 (.250)… that is tied for the ninth worst record by an AL, NL or FL team over the first 80 games since 1901 and is the worst since the 2003 Tigers began the season 19-61…are 3-4-1 over the last eight series after going 1-16 over the first 17 series…have been swept 11 times and have swept one series.
