METSCELLANEOUS: Yesterday, the Mets defeated the Diamondbacks, 8-5, to begin their final road trip before the All-Star Break…New York is 9-18 over its last 27 games…The team continues their three-game tonight vs. Arizona and will conclude the first half with a three-game series in San Diego from July 7 – July 9.

BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN: New York has won three straight games for the first time since their three-game sweep of the Phillies from May 30-June 1… The last time the Mets won four straight games was when they won a season-high-tying five straight games from May 17-May 21.
