MINNESOTA TWINS NOTES:

THE TWINS: After completing their six-game homestand with a record of 4-2 (2-1 vs. both Houston and Chicago-AL), the Twins began their seven-game, eight-day roadtrip with consecutive victories over the Yankees in New York the last two nights…today they will play the third of four at Yankee Stadium and finish the series tomorrow afternoon…they will travel to Boston on the off-day Monday, then play the Red Sox for three games at Fenway Park from Tuesday-Thursday.

Their current four-game winning streak matches their season-high, previously done to open the season, from March 30-April 3.
