GAME #93 RECAP: The Phillies won a wild one, 7-6, at Citizens Bank Park in South Philly … Following a 2:56 delay to begin the game due to rain, starter Zack Wheeler (ND) went 7.0 innings and allowed 3 runs on 5 hits with 0 walks and 7 strikeouts … With the Phils up 5-3 in the 8th, the Padres rallied to tie it and send it to extras … Jeff Hoffman (2.0 IP) pitched a scoreless 11th and 12th, stranding a runner on 2nd base twice – Kyle Schwarber knocked in the winning run with a sac fly in the 12th that scored Edmundo Sosa.

REMEMBER THE FIGHTINS: The Phillies opened this season on the road and went 1-5 in six games through TEX (0-3) and NYY (1-2) … Since then, they are 50-37 with a .575 winning percentage and have the 2nd-best record in the National League and the 5th-best record in all of baseball, behind only ATL (.647), BAL (.621), TB (.593) and TEX (.584) … Since June 3, they have gone 26-10 and their .722 winning percentage in that span ranks 2nd in MLB behind only ATL (28-7, .800).
