MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the following injury report update on guard Lindsay Allen who suffered a left-hand injury in the game against the Indiana Fever on August 10.
A surgical consultation conducted by hand surgeon Sanjeev Kakar, MD, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester confirmed a plan of care that Allen’s left thumb injury will continue to be treated with a cast. She will be re-evaluated in the coming weeks and further updates will be issued when available.
Through the first 29 games (20 starts) of the season, Allen has averaged 6.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 24.0 minutes per game.
