LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Matt Sauer and optioned right-handed pitcher Noah Davis.
Sauer, 26, returns to the Dodgers for his second stint with the team. He is 0-0 with a 5.40 ERA in 1.2 innings. Last season, he made his Major League debut in 2024 as a member of the Kansas City Royals and went 0-0 with a 7.71 ERA in 14 games. He was originally drafted by the Yankees in the second round of the 2017 First Year Player Draft out Ernest Righetti High School (Santa Maria, Calif.).
Davis, 27, was recalled yesterday and has made three appearances with the Dodgers. He has been in the Major Leagues parts of four seasons with the Colorado Rockies (2022-24) and Dodgers (2025), going 0-5 with a 7.83 ERA in 21 games. The Southern California native was originally drafted by the Reds in the 11th round of the 2018 First Year Player Draft out of UC Santa Barbara.
