Los Angeles Dodgers announce roster moves ahead of June Series

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled right-handed pitcher Noah Davis and placed right-handed reliever Luis Garcia on the injured list due to a right adductor strain, effective retroactively to May 29.

Roster Transactions:

  • Noah Davis, RHP – Recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
  • Luis Garcia, RHP – Placed on the 15-day Injured List (right adductor strain).

Noah Davis Returns to Dodgers Rotation

Davis, 27, rejoins the Dodgers after appearing in three games earlier this season, recording a 0-1 record with a 10.13 ERA.

In Triple-A Oklahoma City, Davis compiled:

  • 2-0 record
  • 5.75 ERA (14 appearances)
  • Opponents batting .222 against him

A Southern California native, Davis was originally selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 11th round of the 2018 MLB Draft out of UC Santa Barbara. He has pitched in parts of four Major League seasons, making 21 career appearances between the Rockies (2022-24) and Dodgers (2025).

Luis Garcia Lands on Injured List

Garcia, 38, has been a key bullpen presence for the Dodgers this season, posting:

  • 2-0 record
  • 4.50 ERA in 26 relief appearances

A seasoned MLB veteran, Garcia has played in 13 seasons across multiple teams, including the Phillies, Angels, Rangers, Cardinals, Padres, Red Sox, and Dodgers. Over his career, he holds a 28-28 record with a 4.16 ERA in 571 games. He signed with Los Angeles on February 14, 2025.
