Four rounds of #NHLStats as the Lightning pursue their third Stanley Cup in five years.
* The Lightning, who’ve made the Stanley Cup Final three times in the past four years while winning in 2020 and 2021, are aiming to become the first team to capture three Stanley Cups in a five-year span since the Oilers did so within four years from 1987 to 1990.
* Nikita Kucherov (53-107—160 in 142 GP), currently in the thick of the Art Ross Trophy race, enters the postseason tied for the 22nd-most playoff points in NHL history and is third among all active players behind only Sidney Crosby (71-130—201 in 180 GP) and Evgeni Malkin (67-113—180 in 177 GP).
* Andrei Vasilevskiy (65-42 in 110 GP) sits tied for 12th all-time in playoff wins and needs six to tie Jacques Plante (71-36 in 112 GP) for the 10-most in NHL history. Since making his postseason debut in 2015, he owns 25 more victories than the next closest goaltenders (Braden Holtby & Marc-Andre Fleury both w/ 40).
* Victor Hedman (22-88—110 in 160 GP), the 2020 Conn Smythe Trophy winner, enters the postseason as the only active defenseman – and one of 14 in NHL history – with 100-plus career playoff points.

More #NHLStats
* Since entering the NHL in 1992-93, the Lightning have recorded 123 playoff wins, which is tied with the Devils for the fourth-most over that span trailing the Red Wings (163), Penguins (152) and Avalanche/Nordiques (147). Tampa Bay’s 25 series wins over that span rank fourth across the League, behind Detroit (32), Pittsburgh (28) and Colorado/Quebec (26).
* Jon Cooper enters the postseason with 86 career playoff wins, which is tied with Ken Hitchcock for the 10-most among head coaches in NHL history. He can pass Hitchcock, Glen Sather (89) and tie Mike Babcock (90) for the eighth-most should the Lightning advance past the First Round.
* Nikita Kucherov (53-107—160 in 142 GP) ranks first for the Lightning in playoff goals, assists and points. His 34 points during the 2020 postseason is the second-highest total in a single playoff year by a player in the past 25 years, behind only Evgeni Malkin’s 36 in 2009.
* Andrei Vasilevskiy, who is one of five goaltenders in NHL history to record at least 16 wins in multiple postseasons, has started 104 consecutive playoff games dating back to Game 2 of the 2016 Eastern Conference Final against the Penguins. The only goaltenders with a longer such streak are Martin Brodeur (194), Patrick Roy (133) and Henrik Lundqvist (129).
