Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announce today that they have signed free agent forward Brad Richardson to a one-year contract with a $800,000 AAV.
Richardson, a native of Belleville, Ontario is an NHL veteran of 16 seasons totaling 107 goals and 139 assists for 246 points over 825 career games. Richardson has spent time with the Avalanche, Canucks, Coyotes and Predators over his career and also won the Stanley Cup in 2012 as a member of the Darryl Sutter lead Los Angeles Kings. Richardson was a fifth-round draft pick (163rd overall) in 2003 while a member of the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League.
