Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announce today that they have acquired defenseman Nikita Zadorov from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a third round pick (acquired from Toronto) in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
Zadorov, a native of Moscow, Russia, has played 411 career games netting 23 goals and adding 60 assists for 83 points along with 419 penalty minutes with stops in Buffalo, Colorado and Chicago. The 6’6, 235lbs defenseman was originally drafted in the 1st round (16th overall) by Buffalo in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
