Dodgers recall Ryan Pepiot

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Ryan Pepiot.

Pepiot, 26, will make the start for the Dodgers this evening as he is recalled for the second time this season. In three appearances for the Dodgers (two starts), he is 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA (2 ER/14.0 IP) and 14 strikeouts for the Boys in Blue. The former third rounder out of Butler University has been with the Dodgers two seasons, and he is a perfect 4-0 with a 2.86 ERA (16 ER/50.1 IP) and 56 strikeouts against 29 walks. The Indiana native has spent parts of three seasons in the minor leagues with the Dodgers, going 13-9 with a 3.51 ERA (81 ER/205.0 IP) and 256 strikeouts in 55 games (46 starts). He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the third round (102nd overall) of the 2019 First Year Player Draft out of Butler.
