Selected RHP Bryce Jarvis (No. 40) from Triple-A Reno. MiLB Bio
B/T: L/R │6-2, 195 │Age: 25 (Dec. 26, 1997) in Lexington, Ky.
- Is making his Major League debut.
- Rated as the D-backs’ No. 30 prospect by MLB Pipeline.
- Appeared in 25 games (19 starts) between the Aces and Double-A Amarillo, going 9-6 with a 5.26 ERA (60 ER in 102.2 IP), 53 walks allowed and 110 strikeouts.
- Ranked among Pacific Coast League leaders in wins (T-5th, 7) and strikeouts (8th, 93).
- Selected by the D-backs in the first round (18th overall) in the 2020 draft out of Duke University.
Reinstated C Gabriel Moreno from the 10-day injured list (left shoulder inflammation).
Optioned RHP Ryne Nelson to Reno following last night’s game.
Designated C Carson Kelly for assignment.
