NEW YORK – New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for a dangerous trip against Calgary Flames forward Milan Lucic during NHL Game No. 90 in New Jersey on Tuesday, Oct. 26, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 11:48 of the first period. Subban was assessed a minor penalty for tripping.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
