Since making his professional debut in 2017, Brown has maintained a flawless record of 15 wins and no losses, with 11 victories coming by knockout.

In his most recent fight, Brown secured a knockout victory in the 9th round against previously unbeaten Jesus Saracho.

Brown’s career has faced setbacks due to promotional issues over the past few years.

However, Brown is confident that these challenges will be a thing of the past with his new team.

“I am excited to work with Trifon. We will do big things together. He keeps his guys active and they constantly fight on TV. Those are the opportunities I need. I’m ready for anyone in my weight class,” said Brown.

Brown’s return to the ring is scheduled for April 4th in Houston, Texas, on a Red Owl Boxing card. The event will be televised on DAZN, as confirmed by head matchmaker James Bartley.

“Deonte has shown exceptional promise throughout his professional career. I am excited to have the opportunity to guide him moving forward,” said Trifon Petrov.

Following his signing with Petrov, Brown relocated to New York City to train under renowned trainer Chelo Betancourt. Betancourt currently trains world title contender Edwin De Los Santos and has previously worked with former champions Zab Judah and the late Agapito Sanchez.
