Selected INF Wilmer Difo (No. 1) from Triple-A Reno.
- Hit .269 (75-for-279) with 15 doubles, 7 home runs, 43 RBI and 20 walks in 72 games this season with Triple-A Reno…played 37 games at shortstop, 21 at third base, 8 at designated hitter, 4 at second and 3 at first.
- Signed by the D-backs as a Minor League free agent on March 19.
- Has played in 489 games over 7 Major League seasons with the Nationals (2015-20) and Pirates (2021).
Reinstated LHP Kyle Nelson (lower back spasms) and RHP Keynan Middleton (strained right ankle) from the 15-day injured list.
Designated RHP Noé Ramirez for assignment.
The D-backs’ active roster is now at 28 and 40-man remains at 40.
