Paterson, NJ – Undefeated Junior Middleweight prospect Dwyke Flemmings Jr. has signed with manager Nirobi Al Pasha.
Flemmings, 19 years-old of Paterson, New Jersey is 4-0 with four knockouts.
“I really like Nirobi. He is a very down to earth guy, and I feel my career will skyrocket with him. He has a plan, and he reminds me of my father as he makes me feel like family. We will do some great things together in the future. I like the way he carries himself and he has become a role model,” said Flemmings.
Flemmings began boxing at the age of five. “I came from a boxing family. My father was an amateur, and I began boxing and sparring my older sisters as a baby while I was in Pampers. I have had pictures of me boxing dating back to when I was a baby.”
Also his great uncle is former professional lightweight Rufus Miller, who compiled a professional record of 13-5-1 with four knockouts.
Flemmings had 80 amateur fights where he won a silver medal in the USA Youth National Tournament; A silver medal in international competition in Spain. He could not compete in the gold medal match due to injury.
Flemmings turned professional on December 25, 2021 with a first round stoppage over George Gathers in Newark, New Jersey. In his latest outing, he took out previously undefeated Henry Rivera in the third round on July 8th in Atlantic City.
During his youth, Flemmings wrestled, but gave that up in middle school to focus on school and boxing.
“I am looking to fight about six more times in the next year, and compete for the major regional belts from the sanctioning bodies. I hope to be back in September,”
Flemmings is trained by his father Dwyke Flemmings Sr.
