The Toronto Blue Jays have traded RHP Ty Tice to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for cash considerations.
Tice, 24, made four appearances for Toronto this season, posting a 5.14 ERA (4 ER/7.0 IP) with four walks and six strikeouts. The native of Prairie Grove, AR, was selected by the Blue Jays in the 16th round of the 2017 First-Year Player Draft and made his MLB debut earlier this year with two scoreless innings on April 9 vs. LAA. The University of Central Arkansas product has kept a 2.07 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP across 114 Minor League games.
