Winnipeg, Manitoba – Will Allen, Jr., a defensive back and kick returner, and Michael Young, Jr., a receiver, have been signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Allen, Jr., who is 5-9, 180 pounds and attended Columbia University, born: Born on October 10, 1999, in Omaha, Nebraska, NEB) spent four seasons with the Columbia Lions. He started 27 of his 38 games and was named All-Ivy League in 2017 and 2021. As a three-year starter at cornerback, Allen, Jr. recorded 61 tackles, four tackles for loss, three interceptions, and 17 pass breakups. He also holds the school record for kickoff return average (26.1 yards) and ranks second in Columbia history in terms of career blocked kicks with five. In 2022, he played for the Miami Dolphins for a short time.

William Allen, who spent 11 seasons in the NFL with the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots, is the father of Allen, Jr.

Young, Jr., University of Cincinnati (5-10, 185; born: He was born on February 11, 1999, in St. Rose, Louisiana. He played college ball at Cincinnati (2020-21) and Notre Dame (2017-19), and he appeared in the NFL last year with the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.

Before joining the Bearcats in 2022, Young, Jr. appeared in 12 games over three seasons with the Fighting Irish. In 11 games for Cincinnati in 2021, he had 28 receptions for 353 yards and two touchdowns. In 2020, he had 29 receptions for 332 yards and three touchdowns.
