Seven players signed out of top 10 rounds, including third-rounder
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Astros have officially signed eight members of their 2022 MLB Draft class tonight. The highest draft pick to sign tonight was third-round selection RHP Michael Knorr out of Coastal Carolina. The announcement was made by Astros Director of Scouting Kris Gross.
The Astros made a total of 21 selections in the three-day 2022 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, which ended on Tuesday.
The deadline for teams to sign their draft picks is Aug. 1.
