All six agree to one-year deals, avoiding arbitration
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Astros have avoided arbitration and have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with RHP Bryan Abreu, RHP Luis Garcia, OF Chas McCormick, OF Kyle Tucker, RHP José Urquidy and LHP Framber Valdez. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Today was the deadline for clubs and arbitration-eligible players to exchange filing numbers. The Astros did not agree to terms for the 2024 season with IF/OF Mauricio Dubón. He will have his 2024 salary determined at a later date.
