A’s reinstate OF Laureano from injured list; option OF Bolt to Las Vegas

OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s reinstated outfielder Ramón Laureano from the 10-day injured list and optioned outfielder Skye Bolt to Triple-A Las Vegas, the club announced today.

Laureano was placed on the IL June 1 retroactive to May 28 with a strained right hip and did not have a rehab assignment. He was batting .257 with 11 home runs, 22 RBI and eight stolen bases in 48 games at the time of the injury, including .292 with eight home runs over his last 24 games.

Bolt was recalled when Laureano went on the IL and went 1-for-13 in nine games, including three starts in center field. The one hit was his first Major League home run last Saturday against Kansas City. Bolt is hitting .375 with three home runs, 11 RBI and a .488 on-base percentage in 20 games with Las Vegas.
