OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s have recalled left-handed pitcher Hogan Harris and optioned right-handed pitcher Tayler Scott to Las Vegas, the club announced today.
Harris rejoins the A’s for his third stint with the club this season. He returns to a 2-6 record with a 6.98 ERA, 51 strikeouts, and 26 walks in 59.1 innings pitched in the Majors. In 10 games at the Triple-A level, he is 0-2 with a 6.57 ERA, 37 strikeouts, and 27 walks in 37.0 innings pitched.
Scott has appeared in eight games (one start) for the club and owns a 3.38 ERA to go along with seven strikeouts and two walks across 8.0 innings pitched. He appeared in two games since his last recall on August 15 and tossed 2.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts and one walk allowed.
