OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Trevor Gott on a one-year contract for the 2024 season, the club announced today.
Gott went 0-5 with one save and a 4.19 ERA with 19 walks and 62 strikeouts across 64 games with Seattle and New York-NL last season. Originally drafted by San Diego in the sixth round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft, the 31-year-old is 16-15 with a 4.65 ERA in 255 career Major League games across eight seasons with the Angels (2015), Nationals (2016-18), Giants (2019-20), Brewers (2022), Mariners (2023) and Mets (2023).
