The Pittsburgh Pirates today acquired minor league left-handed pitcher Ronaldys Jimenez from the San Diego Padres organization in exchange for left-handed pitcher Martín Pérez.

The 18-year-old Jimenez went 0-0 with a 1.50 ERA (6.0ip/1er) in three starts this season with the Dominican Summer League Padres Gold team.

Jimenez was signed by the Padres as a non-drafted free agent on June 7, 2023.
