The Ducks fell 5-2 to the Los Angeles Kings Friday afternoon at Honda Center, the club’s 22nd time hosting a Black Friday game at Honda Center (27th game overall the day after Thanksgiving). Radko Gudas recorded his fourth goal, a single-season high in goals since 2018-19 (4-16=20 in 77 GP with PHI). Alex Killorn recorded his first goal as a Duck (199th career goal) and his fourth point of the season (1-3=4). Mason McTavish pushed his point streak to three games (2-3=5) with an assist, his team-leading 21st point (10- 11=21). Troy Terry also registered his eighth assist and Frank Vatrano tallied his 20th point of the season with an assist (13-7=20). John Gibson stopped 26 shots in his fourth straight start and 13th appearance of the season.

TONIGHT’S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks open a two-game road trip tonight against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place (6 p.m. PT, TV: Bally Sports SoCal, AUDIO: Ducks Stream). Anaheim enters tonight with wins in five of the last six road contests (5-1-0) and an 8-7- 0 record the last 15 games overall.. Anaheim is the only team during the month of November to have both special teams rank in the top5 of the NHL with the power play fourth (10-35, 28.6%) and penalty kill fifth (35-40, 87.5%). The Ducks continue their 14-game November schedule (10 home, four road), posting a 4-7-0 record this month and 160-143-66 record in the month all-time.
