-The LA Kings visit the Ottawa Senators at Scotiabank Arena for the first of two meetings this season between these clubs (March 7).
-The Kings aim for their fifth consecutive road win of the 2023-24 campaign.
-Tonight’s matchup is the third against an Atlantic Division opponent this year for LA (Oct. 21 vs. BOS; Oct. 31 at TOR).

4) Forward Arthur Kaliyev has three goals in his last three games against the Senators (3-0=3). Kaliyev scored his second goal, and first power-play goal of the season, on Tuesday night vs. Toronto. It marked the 15th power-play goal of his career, surpassing Anaheim’s Trevor Zegras (14) for the second-most power-play goals among 2019 NHL draftees and trailing only New Jersey’s Jack Hughes (23).
5) Goaltender Cam Talbot makes his return to Ottawa after recording a 17-14-2 record in 32 games started last season. Talbot has backstopped his team to a point in three straight games (2-0-1) and has recorded a win in four consecutive road games started for the Kings.

Tkachuk scored twice while Giroux contributed a game-high three points (three assists) to lead the Senators to a 5-2 win over Pittsburgh and a second consecutive win at PPG Paints Arena for the first time. Batherson, Kubalik (who notched his first goal with Ottawa) and Greig (who also earned an assist to record the first multi-point game of his NHL career), also scored for the visitors. Stützle posted two assists on a night that saw Crosby and Guentzel reply for the Penguins. Korpisalo made 40 saves to earn the win in goal for the Senators.
