SOX SUSPENDED
White Sox SS Tim Anderson (six-game suspension and $20,000 fi ne), Manager Pedro Grifol (one-game suspension) and RHP Michael Kopech ($1,000 fi ne) all have been disciplined by Major League Baseball for their roles in multiple benches-clearing altercations on Saturday night at Cleveland.
Anderson has appealed his suspension and will be active for tonight’s game.

TODAY’S TRANSACTIONS
The White Sox have added RHP Brent Honeywell to the active roster and optioned LHP Sammy Peralta to Class AAA Charlotte.
Honeywell, 28, was claimed off waivers from San Diego on Saturday after going 2-4 with a 4.05 ERA (21 ER/46.2 IP), three holds and 42 strikeouts in 36 relief appearances with the Padres.
The Sox also acquired OF Tyler Naquin from Milwaukee in exchange for cash considerations and assigned him to Charlotte.
