SERIES NOTES
- For the second time in 3 seasons, the Reds and Brewers are meeting in the series on each side of the All-Star Game…in 2021, the Reds went 3-1 at Mil to end the first half and were swept in the 3-game home series after the break…in that 2021 series, the Reds faced the same opponent in 7 consecutive games for the first time since 6/30-7/4, 1953, when, coincidentally, they went 4-3 vs the Milwaukee Braves…in 2022, the Reds and Cardinals met on each side of the All-Star Game (0-2, 1ppd at StL & 2-1 vs StL).

With the addition of Abner Uribe, the Brewers have now had 51 different players on the active roster this season (53 players all of 2022).

Devin Williams is representing the team at the All-Star Game in Seattle, joining Josh Hader (4x), Dan Plesac (3x), Francisco Rodríguez (2x) and Hall-of-Famer Rollie Fingers (2x) as the only relievers in franchise history with mutliple ASG appearances.
Rebel Yeli
Since June 6, Christian Yelich has hit .358 (39-for-109) with 25 runs, 4 HR and 20 RBI in 28 games, including a .449 OBP/.596 SLG/1.045 OPS…..Yelich is currently on a 7-game hitting streak during which he is batting .414 (12-for-29) with 11 runs, 2 HR and 9 RBI (.500 OBP/.724 SLG, 1.224 OPS).
Better Off Red
Since joining the Brewers in 2018, Christian Yelich has played 80 games against Cincinnati and has hit .296 (87-for-294) with 17 HR and 50 RBI with a .411 OBP/.565 SLG/.975 OPS
