Orlando attacker Adriana led the Pride in both shots (three) and chances created (three) in their loss to North Carolina. It was Adriana’s sixth league match this season with at least three shots and three chances created, with no other NWSL player having more than three such games this season.
With a goal when the clubs met in April, Kansas City midfielder Debinha has now scored 12 goals in 16 all-time appearances in all competitions against Orlando. Since Debinha’s debut in 2017, she is one of two players with at least 12 goals against a single NWSL opponent, along with Megan Rapinoe against Gotham FC (13).

Orlando is looking for a second win in their last three games, while Kansas City is desperate to climb off the bottom of the table and will likely need a first win in three games in order to do so. The Pride are currently in 9th place with 13 points from 12 games, while the Current are in 12th with 9 points from the same amount of games played.
Orlando was shutout in a 3-0 loss to North Carolina over the weekend, which was the Pride’s NWSL-leading seventh time failing to score in a league match this season. The 10 goals the club has scored this season are the fewest through 12 games in team history.
The Current have lost nine of their 12 league matches this season (W3) becoming the fifth team in league history to lose at least 75 percent of their first 12 games of a season. Kansas City’s three wins have all come in shutouts as the Current are yet to avoid defeat when conceding in league play this season.
Kansas City earned its first win over Orlando when the teams met back in April. Hailie Mace notched two assists in the 2-0 win as the Current held the Pride scoreless for the first time in five all-time meetings.
