MLB Preview: Philadelphia Phillies (32-33) at Arizona Diamondbacks (40-25)

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES NOTES:

GAME #65 RECAP: The Phillies defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-3, at a sold out Citizens Bank Park in South Philly … Starter Taijuan Walker (W, 6-3) scattered 2 hits over 5.0 scoreless innings with 2 walks to 5 strikeouts … Brandon Marsh, Bryson Stott, Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos and Trea Turner all had multiple hits as the Phillies totaled 13 on the day and took two of three games from the Dodgers.

LET THE GOOD VIBES ROLL: The Phillies have won seven of their last eight games (6/3-current) and just took two of three from the Los Angeles Dodgers who have the second-best run differential in the National League at +62 (best: ATL, +69) … Over the last three seasons (2021-23), the Phillies are 38-23 in the month of June and their .623 winning percentage ranks 4th among all MLB clubs behind only BOS (.662), ATL (.641) and HOU (.625) … Over the last two seasons (since 2022), the Phillies are 26-11 in June and their .703 winning % ranks T-2nd in MLB (with NYY), trailing only ATL (.778).
