ROSTER MOVES: Yesterday, the Mets reinstated catcher Omar Narváez from the 60-Day IL… Narváez has been on the IL since early April with a left calf strain…In order to make room, catcher Tomás Nido was designated for assignment… Narváezwas 4-19 (.211) with one double, four RBI and five walks in six rehab games between Brooklyn (A+) and Syracuse (AAA).
C IS FOR COOKIE: Carlos Carrasco is set to make his seventh start of the season tonight…Over his last two starts, Carrasco is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA (2 ER/12.2 IP) with three walks and eight strikeouts…In five career games (four starts) against Atalanta, Carrasco is 2-2 with a 4.30 ERA (11 ER/23.0 IP) with six walks and 19 strikeouts.
