Round 2 Game 4 Recap
May 10 – Vegas Golden Knights 1, Edmonton Oilers 4
The Vegas Golden Knights were defeated by the Edmonton Oilers, 4-1, in Game 4 on Wednesday night at Rogers Place and the series is now tied, 2-2. The Oilers used goals from Nick Bjugstad, Evan Bouchard and Mattias Ekholm to take a 3-0 lead in the opening frame. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins found the back of the net in the second period as Edmonton took a 4-0 advantage into the final 20 minutes. Nicolas Roy got Vegas on the board in the third period but the Oilers cruised to the 4-1 win.

VGK/EDM – Regular Season Recap
The Vegas Golden Knights held a 1-2-1 record against the Edmonton Oilers in the 2022-23 regular season. In both of the first two matchups of the season, Vegas fell 4-3 to Edmonton, as the first contest saw a two-goal performance from Mark Stone send the Golden Knights into overtime where Connor McDavid gave Edmonton the game-winner. In their third meeting of the season, the Golden Knights battled back and forth with the Oilers and entered overtime for the second time in the season series. Nicolas Roy made the clutch play to give Vegas its first win of the series, 4-3 in the extra frame in Edmonton. In the final meeting of the season three days later in Vegas, things began with another back and forth start, but the Oilers pulled away, 7-4.
