NEW YORK – Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo has been suspended for one game for slashing Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl during Game 4 of the teams’ Second Round Series in Edmonton on Wednesday, May 10, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 18:29 of the third period. Pietrangelo was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for slashing.
