Columbus Group SC has lost just five of its last 30 normal season matches (W11 D14)dating back to late May 2022 as just FC Cincinnati (4) has less losses in that time (barring St. Louis City SC).
Two minutes and 31 seconds apart, Kerwin Vargas and Kamil Jozwiak scored for Charlotte FC against the Colorado Rapids. It was the third time in Charlotte FC’s MLS history that it scored twice in the space of three minutes. It also did so against D. C. United and Nashville SC last season.
After scoring against Toronto FC in June, Sean Zawadski scored the equalizing goal for the Columbus Crew SC in the eight minutes of extra time on Saturday. This was his second goal in MLS history. In his 11 MLS games, Zawadski has only attempted two shots and scored two goals.
