CHICAGO – Prior to today’s series finale vs. Baltimore, the Chicago White Sox placed infielder Hanser Alberto on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to April 15) with a strained left quad, selected the contract of outfielder Adam Haseley from Class AAA Charlotte and designated infielder/outfielder Nick Solak for assignment.

Haseley, 27, is hitting .229/.339/.438 (11-48) with four doubles, two home runs, four RBI and six runs scored in 14 games with Charlotte this season. He appeared in 14 games with the White Sox in 2022, going 5-21 (.238) with two RBI, after being acquired from Philadelphia on March 29, 2022 in exchange for pitcher McKinley Moore.

Alberto, 30, is hitting .211 (4-19) with one homer and four RBI over eight games this season, his first with the Sox.

Solak, 28, was claimed off waivers from Seattle on Friday.

The White Sox 40-man roster remains at 40.
